Joseph Laney is a freelance artist based in New York City. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Seattle Met, Seattle Weekly, The Stranger, Miami New Times, among others. Joseph has worked for a number of studios and agencies, including Late Night Cartoons (Our Cartoon President), Tomato Beach, 1st Ave Machine, Nathan Love, King Boss, Fahrenheit 212, Anomaly, Stag and Hare, and Neon.
Joseph is currently plugging away on a number of comic book projects Including DetectiveCobalt -Hero with Half a Dozen Faces and The Alot More Dangerouse Game. He lives in Lower Manhattan with his wife, and two children. And when time allows Joseph is a lover of the outdoors who likes to hike, fish and paint.
Joseph holds a BFA in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art.
